Comments are great for any blogger. Comments tell your visitor within a glance that your thought are not isolated. There are people sharing there are ideas with you. They tell you what they like. They tell you what they dislike.
If traffic is like blood to your blog, then comment are the white cells. There are definite attacks on the blogs with spam comment. For this a while back the invented ‘rel=nofollow’ attribute. Although the three major search engines Google, Yahoo, and Ask all take different meaning for ‘rel=nofollow’, it still works in discouraging spammers trying to put their links on your site. It works perfectly for forums at least.
However, as a blogger ‘rel=nofollow’ discourages regular commenter as well by telling them that they would not have any link juice from their comments. Thus their comments only bring some kind of feed back. It does not give them attribution to the PR they might otherwise have.
This is why Do Follow was created. I feel sorry that I did not know this untill last week. There were a few bloggers .. who with their blog posts like binary moon or this .. or this made me aware. You can also join the revolution. When you link to this post .. what will happen is that your link will appear here. So when many of us link to the post .. it will get enough PR .. and you will get the juice … hmm tempting .. isn’t it ?

Great article mate. I strongly believe in Do follow and suggest other to join the campaign.
